I am a dog trainer based in Burbage, Leicestershire and share life with my wonderful Labradors, Bellagio and Rupert.
I have always been passionate about helping owners build stronger, more fulfilling relationships with their dogs. My commitment to excellence drives me to continuously enhance my knowledge and skills through a variety of comprehensive training programs.
I’m proud to have earned certification from the Dog Training College and have specialised in areas such as gundog training and scent work. I’ve also expanded my expertise by completing courses with The Institute of Modern Dog Trainers and The British College of Canine Studies, to name just a few.
As a lifelong learner, I understand that acquiring new skills can be both exciting and challenging. That’s why I’m here to guide and support you every step of the way, making your training journey as rewarding and enjoyable as possible for both you and your dog.
Bellagio
Bellagio is a working line Labrador Retriever, born in February 2023. Despite being in the thick of his teenage phase now, he is well into his training journey. Bellagio is particularly eager about gundog training and we regularly attend classes at Hare and Hounds Dog Training. We recently gained our Gundog Club Grade Two certificate and are now awaiting our grade three assessment. Canvas dummies are his favourite thing in the world although he does love a splash in any water he comes across. No matter how cold it is!
Rupert
Rupert is Bellagio's cheeky little brother. Having both come from the same parents, we thought we might get lucky and have another perfect angel of a pup… oh how we were wrong. Rupert definitely suffers from second dog syndrome! Rupert was born in April 2024 so is still growing and has a lot to learn so there’s hope for the boy yet. He is boingy, playful, loving and really is a charming little chap. He will also be beginning his gundog training journey when the time comes but for now you will either find him snoozing on the chair or terrorising his big brother.
