Struggling with a teenage dog who suddenly 'can’t hear you' anymore?
A dog who pulls on the lead all of a sudden?
A once-sweet puppy who now jumps, grabs, ignores and seems constantly overexcited?
…our 1:1 Teenage Dog Training Programme might be exactly what you’re looking for!
This is a private, one-to-one version of my Teen Dog Skills course, delivered over four structured sessions.
We follow a clear programme, but sessions are flexible and responsive. That means we can:
Over the programme, we focus on developing:
The goal is not to create robotic obedience. The goal is to help you feel confident to develop your skills for the real world — past distractions, around other dogs, and in stimulating environments — in a fair, rewarding and sustainable way.

While designed for adolescent dogs, this 1:1 programme can also be booked for:
• Newly adopted dogs
• Older dogs who missed early training
• Adult dogs who would benefit from structured basics
• Puppy parents who wish to further develop their skills

We begin by making sure your dog wants to work with you. Prioritise motivation, clarity and emotional regulation from the start.

We begin building value and reliability in your recall cue and setting your dog up for success.

We teaching your dog where we would like them to be and begin to build patterns to help grow their skills.

In our final session we will consolidate skills and troubleshoot challenges to ensure you feel confident to progress your training with your dog.
Adolescence looks different in every dog. You receive guidance tailored to your dog’s breed, personality and environment.
With fewer distractions and all the focus on you, we can cover more in each session and adapt instantly to what your dog needs.
Some dogs (and people) struggle in group settings — 1:1s help build confidence without the pressure.
Sessions can be arranged around your availability rather than fixed course dates.
You'll receive detailed feedback on timing, mechanics and reward delivery.

✖️You won’t find harsh corrections, lead yanking or outdated dominance-based approaches.
✖️You won’t be told to suppress your dog’s instincts or shut down their enthusiasm.
✖️And you certainly won’t be forced into rigid methods that don’t feel right for you or your dog.

✔️You will find structured, science-led training that works with your dog — not against them.
✔️You will find clear guidance, calm coaching and realistic expectations.
✔️You will find fun, purposeful sessions that leave you smiling and your dog heading home with a waggy tail

All 1:1 training takes place at my private training field in Stoke Golding, Leicestershire – just a short drive from Hinckley, Burbage, and Nuneaton. With no random off-lead dogs, no park distractions, and plenty of space, it’s the perfect spot to practise.

(PS. I always love getting cute dog pics... you know what to do!)
